In a milestone visit celebrating bilateral Franco-Egyptian cooperation in higher education, the Ambassador of France to Egypt visited the newly inaugurated Université Française d’Égypte campus in El Shorouk City.
Accompanied by representatives of the French Embassy’s Cooperation and Cultural Action department and the UFE Presidential Council, the Ambassador toured the university’s signature parametric canopy, the advanced artificial intelligence and data science laboratories delivered in partnership with EFREI Paris, and the collaborative study courtyards.
Deepening Bilateral Academic Ties
"Université Française d’Égypte represents the crown jewel of academic and scientific friendship between France and Egypt," the Ambassador affirmed during an address to faculty and students. "Every degree delivered here is a dual sovereign diploma carrying the full prestige of French public universities and the European Bologna framework."
Discussions also highlighted expanding incoming mobility semesters in Paris, Nantes, and Alsace, as well as increasing French governmental merit scholarship allocations for outstanding Egyptian secondary school graduates.
